Buy ready-made if you want it settled
A ready-made figure is a design someone has already resolved: the palette works, the details are balanced, and you can see exactly what you're getting before you buy. If you like a design as it stands, that's the whole argument.
It's also the simpler gift when you don't know someone's taste well enough to design for them, and it's usually the cheaper way in.

Buy custom if the point is that it's yours
A custom build is the only way to get a figure of a specific person, or a design nobody else owns. Every choice is yours, and the result is a one-of-one object rather than one of a run.
The trade is that you're the designer. That's the fun of it for most people, and the work of it for some.

You don't actually have to choose
Any ready-made design can be opened in the builder and made yours — keep the parts you like, change the ones you don't. That's usually the fastest route to a good custom figure, because you're editing something that already works rather than starting from nothing.
The same applies to anything on the MEYO Wall: open a design, hit remix, and it becomes the starting point for your own.

Price and wait
Ready-made figures are priced per product on their page. Custom builds start at $229 for 12", $339 for 18" and $549 for 24", plus whatever options you add.
Production is three to four weeks either way, because ready-made figures are made to order too — they're a starting design, not warehouse stock.

Common questions
Can I customise a ready-made design?
Yes. Open it in the builder and change whatever you like. The original design stays available as it is.
Which is better as a gift?
A custom figure if you know their style well; a ready-made one or a gift card if you don't. A gift card lets them build their own.
Is the wait different?
No. Both are made to order, so production is three to four weeks from order confirmation, then shipping.
